Ana Zecic Jeffers

Ana was born in Croatia in 1982 and  started playing piano at seven. She graduated the University of Zagreb Music Academy with top honors in 2005 with a Master of Piano Performance and Master of Piano Pedagogy diploma. She moved to Paris in 2006 to study with Eugen Indjic and obtained Diplome de virtuosite, Diplome de concert and Certificate de perfectionnement. She was studying with Ephraim Laor at Conservatory Niedermeyer at Issy-les-Moulineaux, France where she obtained 1st prize at the final exam in June 2011 with top honors. Ana took masterclasses with Marina Ambokadze, Arbo Valdma, Michael Lewin, Jerome Rose, David Dolan, Olivier Roberti, Sonia Rubinsky, Braz Velloso, Homero Francesch, Paul Gulda, Roberta Rust, Kevin Robert Orr, Robert Roux and Natalya Antonova. Her studies were supported by the Ministry of science, education and sports of Croatia, City of Zagreb, French government, foundation DAAD  and foundation Frankopan. She has won prizes at national and international competitions. She has given solo recitals, concerts with orchestra and chamber music concerts in Croatia and abroad.

Pavica Gvozdic and Eugen Indjic describe her as a great talent, with a naturalness of musicality and a deep feeling for music, as a professional pianist with great technique, a unique artistic personality and intelligence.

In 2014 she moved to the US with her husband and son. She works as an accompanist at the University of Florida School of Music,as a Music Director at University Lutheran Church, as an assistant at the University Of Florida International Piano Festival and as a piano teacher in a private piano studio. She performs in the US and abroad. Dr. Kevin Robert Orr is her mentor from 2016.
